Ecobank Signs MoU with Export-Import Bank of India

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (“Ecobank” or “the Group”) has concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with the Export-Import Bank of India (“EXIM Bank”) to promote and finance trade and investment flows between Africa and India.

Guaranty Trust Bank’s Eurobond adjudged the Best Financial Institution Bond in Nigeria

Nigeria: CBN - Cashless Policy to Enhance Payment System

Lagos — Cashless policy will enhance national payments system and address currency management hitches in the country, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has said.

Nigeria: Firstbank Offers Single Digit Lending Rate to SMEs

BOG Gross International Reserves down to $4.3 billion

The Gross International Reserves of Bank of Ghana (BoG) declined to $4.3 billion as at June 8, 2012 from $5.4 billion in December 2011, the Central Bank said in Accra on Wednesday.
