FBC Bank opens Msasa Branch – Another Milestone

FBC Bank, the flagship brand of FBC Holdings has opened a branch in the Msasa Industrial Area. The state of the art custom made branch is the bank’s 15th branch. The opening of FBC Bank Msasa branch is an exciting development which materialized from a long-held idea to be part of the industrial growth of the light industrial area. The branch is located next to the Innscor foodcourt and has looks majestic in the splendor of FBC colours.

Speaking at the well-attended opening ceremony the MD and FBC Deputy Chief Executive John Mushayavanhu was excited by the development. He reiterated the bank’s commitment to deliver excellent service as well as innovative e-driven solutions to meet client’s banking needs.

‘Over and above excellent branches like Msasa, the bank shall be rolling out state-of the art electronic banking solutions which will change banking as you know it’ he said.

FBC Bank clients in Msasa and Ruwa areas will now indeed enjoy service-passionate banking in their backyard. Msasa branch is the second custom - made branch following to FBC centre branch at the corporate head office in Harare Central Business district.

The opening of FBC Bank Msasa branch marks the beginning of the banks expansion programme with plans underway to open branches in carefully and strategically chosen locations. Client access is a priority for the bank, and brick-and-mortar branches will be complemented by a comprehensive assortment of electronic self-service channels.

Aside of ATMs and Zimswitch-enabled point-of-sale terminals, the Bank has a cutting edge Internet banking service which enables both individuals and corporates to enjoy a full suite of service from the comfort of their homes or office. Among the bill payment services the Dstv subscription payment enjoys high usage, as it saves customers a trip to Multichoice in Avondale as well as a wait in the queue. Transfers are also popular as they avoid RTGS paperwork and a trip to the bank to submit on time.

The Bank has also rolled out Branch point-of-sale terminals which enable individual customers to transact through use of the FBC Debit card which is both convenient and safe. Identity theft has been on the rise, and manual withdrawal transactions have been giving room to fraudsters. Before year-end all individual accountholders will be transacting through the branch POS.
